Why Scouting?

For more than 100 years, Scouting programs have instilled in youth the values found in the Scout Oath and Scout Law. Today, these values are just as relevant in helping youth grow to their full potential as they were in 1910. Scouting helps youth develop academic skills, self-confidence, ethics, leadership skills, and citizenship skills that influence their adult lives.

Local Services

Pack 249 enjoys and takes pride in it’s service to it’s local community. We have participated with groups like SCAA, Great Dane Rescue, and Creek ReLeaf.

Energetic Pack

We are an energetic and active pack, we meet once a week and camp every month. We participate in local service projects during the year, and in the summer we participate in camps in the local council as well as other councils.
